Starting Line Up
Through these early stages, you may hear the term “Team Short Drop” sprinkled throughout the blog. So before we get carried away with multiple posts, “allow me to reintroduce myself.”
The vision of Short Drop is lead by Caiphus. He thinks he’s too cool to use his last name, so please indulge his artistic fantasy for now. He comes with 20 years experience creating video games and fine art. When he’s not day dreaming about new ideas, you can find him training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, traveling or in his Arsenal sweat suit reading the latest conspiracy theories.
Cassandra Grant oversees marketing, company structure and all the important things that makes the studio function. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing and event production. She’s worked with brands such as PC Gaming Show, PAX, E3 and Republic of Gamers. She hails from jolly ole England and is a die hard foodie, traveller and Arsenal fan.
Andrew Beaudry currently resides in Helsinki, Finland. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he brings his skills as a product manager to the table. Another game industry veteran, Mr. Beaudry works for Electronic Arts and moonlights with Short Drop. In his free time he enjoys day drinking in the sunshine, calisthenics cycle in the gym and hopes to one day be a guest on the Men in Blazers podcast and deliver a TED talk. He too, is an Arsenal fan. See where we’re going with this?
The Jamaican born, Richard Gayle is the Scrooge McDuck of Team Short Drop. He has an extensive career in investment banking and money management. He has worked for industry giants such as, Charles Schwab, Bank of Hawaii and Wells Fargo. He and Caiphus have been close friends for almost two decades and have traveled the world to simply watch soccer/football matches. One memorable journey was to north London to see their favorite team, you guessed it, Arsenal!
