It has been established that I am a geek, nerd and lover of video games. Guilty. But many don’t know that I am also a connoisseur of MMA, I trained Krav Maga for many years and currently practice Gracie Jiu Jitsu as well. To top it all off, my uncle is the legendary Kwame Ture (formerly Stokely Carmichael.) RIP
Why am I telling you all this? Well, I’m telling you all this so you can have some sort of understanding of how my mind works and kinda realize how I come up with some of these ideas.
The past few years, the world has seen some unprecedented things. Cries for equality (that’s not new), presidents that defy the norm (that’s new), climate change advocacy, human trafficking, children being placed in cages, a global pandemic, Fake News, etc…
Needless to say, it’s been extremely bizarre from a historical perspective.
So I asked myself, what would some of the world's greatest freedom fighters think of today’s current events? How would they respond? And more importantly, what would they be like if they returned as characters in one of my favorite games? Strange, I know, but a thought nevertheless.

In my opinion, people respond to good art but great art is polarizing. And hopefully the FFC hits that mark; either you love it or you hate it. And I’m perfectly okay with either. Just know that I have the utmost respect for these individuals and the works are just my personal take on parody and satire. It’s meant to be creative, thought provoking, speak to the current political climate and serve as social commentary in the form of designer toys.

Team Short Drop has compiled an extensive list of characters that we are planning to create. However, we will just go with the first set (all not visible here) and see how they are received.
SAINT
Staying true to the Short Drop mantra, everything will be on a limited release, so once they’re gone… they’re gone.
MERCH
BONUS: Short Drop will be partnering with the renown artist, Nick Drogatta to create the comic book explaining how these historical figures have returned. Each character will come with a mini-comic.
