Geez, where to begin? So much has happened since we last posted about this. To keep it brief, we kept on keeping on with the B.A.T. project and found a breakthrough with a particular vendor who was able to bring the concept to life in a BIG way…no pun intended.

The Notorious B.A.T. will now be a 12 inch jumbo sculpt… why? Well, why not? It just felt like the right thing to do. After making it 3” and then 6”... We had a professional prototype created at 8”. It was nice but then decided to give a new vendor a shot and they delivered us a whooping 12 inch beauty that made our mouths drop!!

SO, there it is… and here are some behind the scenes images of the production phases, so you can see the process in all it’s glory and splendor. All art done by Team Short Drop, from the toy sculpt to the final box design!
We also teamed up with Hip Hop Toyz as our exclusive distributor for this campaign and are hoping to build a solid partnership and bright future together. And for the keen eyed observer, you will notice that we switched from a semi gloss (on the prototype) to a matte finish for the final production... it just looks so much more bad a$$!!
As of this write up, we have already had a soft launch at DesignerCon 23’ and the reception was fantastic!! We are only selling 100 units and a chunk of that is already gone due to the pre-sale. So hopefully, we will sell out of the jumbo limited edition and move into what we are cooking up next… You’re gonna LOVE IT!!!!
